D 28, 1491–1495 (1983)Gauge theories with composite bosonsReceived 6 May 1983; published in the issue dated 15 September 1983 We develop an approach for introducing bosons into gauge theories as composite states of fermions. It is scale and gauge invariant from the outset and utilizes invariant regularization procedures. This results in the acquisition of gauge-covariant kinetic energy by the bosons and the growth of coupling constants and masses.
