D 29, 1007–1009 (1984)On the correlation between transverse momentum and multiplicity of secondaries at collider energyReceived 13 June 1983; published in the issue dated 1 March 1984 The correlation between 〈pt〉 and multiplicity is examined in the framework of conventional hadron dynamics. A plausible estimate of the effect at collider energy close to the experimental value is given.
