D 39, 2258–2262 (1989)Arnowitt-Deser-Misner energy and three-momentum for a simplicial spaceReceived 18 January 1989; published in the issue dated 15 April 1989 The theory of distributions will be used in computing the Arnowitt-Deser-Misner (ADM) energy for a finite simplicial space. A related method will be presented for the computation of the ADM three-momentum. It will be shown that the energy is proportional to the contribution to the integral curvature from the legs on the boundary of the space. © 1989 The American Physical Society URL:
