We report the results of a search for particles with electric charge Q=2/3e produced in e+e- annihilations at W=10.5 GeV. The ratio of the cross section for the inclusive production of fractionally charged particles (q) to the dimuon point cross section, Rq=σ(e+e-→qX)/σ(e+e-→μ+μ-), is found to have an upper limit at 90% confidence level of 1.0×10-4 for masses less than 3.5 GeV/c2.
