We consider supersymmetric models in which a (pseudo) Goldstone supermultiplet plays the role of the messenger of supersymmetry breaking. Such models lead to a highly predictive form of flavor- and CP-conserving soft terms, particularly the soft scalar masses and trilinear couplings vanish at an intermediate scale where the (approximate) global symmetry is spontaneously broken.
