Phys. Rev. D 64, 098502 (2001) [3 pages]Reply to “Chances to see beyond the standard model through Bc→Bu*γ decay”Received 21 May 2001; published 11 October 2001 The arguments advanced in the preceding Comment do not affect our basic result that short- and long-distance contributions are both very small and of comparable magnitude in the Bc→Bu*γ decay. Accordingly, this decay remains a most suitable ground for probing enhanced short-distance contributions to the c⃗uγ transition, coming from physics beyond the standard model. We also explain the framework of validity for the form factors we derived. © 2001 The American Physical Society URL:
