Phys. Rev. D 66, 037301 (2002) [2 pages]Neutrino mass from triplet and doublet scalars at the TeV scaleReceived 4 April 2002; published 9 August 2002 If the minimal standard model of particle interactions is extended to include a scalar triplet with a lepton number L=-2 and a scalar doublet with L=-1, neutrino masses mν∼μ124v2/M5∼10-2 eV are possible, where v∼102 GeV is the electroweak symmetry breaking scale, M∼1 TeV is the typical mass of the new scalars, and μ12∼1 GeV is a soft lepton-number-violating parameter. © 2002 The American Physical Society URL:
