D 71, 081502 (2005) [7 pages]Free spin 2 duality invariance cannot be extended to general relativityReceived 3 March 2005; published 28 April 2005 We show by explicit computation that the recently discovered duality invariance of D=4 linearized gravity is lost, already at first self-interacting, cubic approximation of general relativity.
