Phys. Rev. D 72, 024027 (2005) [6 pages]Quantum gravity induced Lorentz invariance violation in the standard model: HadronsReceived 25 May 2005; published 27 July 2005 In a previous letter, we have observed that the infinities of the standard model (SM) are a source of Quantum Gravity effects at lower energies. This analysis implies the existence of Lorentz invariance violation (LIV) within the SM. In this paper we obtain the LIV for mesons and nucleons using chiral lagrangian and Heavy Baryon Chiral Perturbation Theory. We use them to study several effects, including the GZK anomaly. © 2005 The American Physical Society URL:
