Phys. Rev. D 76, 084013 (2007) [5 pages]Compatibility of radial, Lorenz, and harmonic gaugesReceived 14 May 2007; published 16 October 2007 We observe that the radial gauge can be consistently imposed on-shell together with the Lorenz gauge in Maxwell theory and with the harmonic traceless gauge in linearized general relativity. This simple observation has relevance for some recent developments in quantum gravity where, as we argue, the radial gauge is implicitly utilized. © 2007 The American Physical Society URL:
