D 77, 014020 (2008) [14 pages]Diquarks and Λb→Λc weak decaysReceived 15 October 2007; published 23 January 2008 In this work we investigate the weak Λb→Λc semileptonic and nonleptonic decays. The light-front quark model and diquark picture for heavy baryons are adopted to evaluate the Λb→Λc transition form factors. In the heavy quark limit we study the Isgur-Wise function. The transition form factors are obtained in the whole physical momentum regions. The numerical predictions on the branching ratios of nonleptonic decay modes Λb→ΛcM and various polarization asymmetries are made.
